Exploring Prophecy
Prophecy is a controversial area within Christianity. Generally prophecy does not say what happens when we die but does talk about future events to come. Many Christians do not trust prophecy unless it has come from the Bible, even though Christians would accept that God can give someone a message in a supernatural way to share, which is the essence of prophecy. Some believe prophecy can help strengthen people's beliefs and help those that need to hear it. Some believe there are those that hear prophecy so we can pray against it to prevent an event from happening.
