Matthew chapter 26
God must be our priority.
Whatever we do for God is never a waste.
Don't be tempted by greed; be generous and kind and put others first and evil will not get in.
Jesus has already prepared our path; it's whether we choose to follow it. Trust in the Lord, and all will be well.
Jesus gave us the bread of life in his body and poured out his blood so we would never thirst. Through Jesus' sacrifice our sins are forgiven; we too can have eternal life.
We are all sinners and require God's forgiveness.
We need to keep our spirit awake and not fall asleep and let evil in. If our spirit is asleep, we will not recognise evil. Staying close to God is our protection against evil. It is easier to keep evil out than to get rid of it later.
Matthew chapter 27
Never lose hope; all sins can be forgiven if we truly repent and ask for forgiveness.
Always put yourself last and others first.
Listen to those around us; God will use others to send us messages and signs.
To do nothing can often be a worse sin. When we have the opportunity to prevent or change something that is evil and do nothing, we are also guilty. We cannot expect to ignore sin we can do something about, even if it isn't our initial sin.
We are responsible for how we treat others. Expect God to treat us the same when the time comes.
While we still have breath, we can repent and ask for forgiveness, but this must be a heart transformation and not just words.
One day we will all recognise the presence of God; don't leave it too late to do what is required.
Once you accept Jesus, He will be with you to carry you through the difficulties.
Guard yourself against being deceived by staying close to God. He will guide us and protect us.
Matthew chapter 28
The power of God is unlimited.
If we keep searching for Jesus, we will find him.
We are to tell everyone Jesus is coming, and do not be afraid.
Do not doubt Jesus has all the authority in Heaven and on earth, and he will be with us until the end of the age.
Be baptised and follow God's commandments and every teaching.
Tell everyone the teachings of Jesus.
