Matthew chapter 23

Open the door of Heaven to people by humility and love. Build up people; do not put them down.

Don't be so quick to point out the faults of others, especially when your own faults are much worse.

Justice, mercy and faithfulness are more important than blindly following rules of the church (tradition).

Preach love and humility and forgiveness rather than damnation (build up people).

Be clean on the inside, not just looking clean.

God will gather his children like a hen gathers her chicks, but not until they say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.' This is about the Jewish people recognising Jesus as the one true Messiah. We must recognise Jesus is our daily lives too.

Matthew chapter 24

Do not be deceived. Natural disasters and suffering will increase, and many will turn away from God in the end times.

Those who continue to love God will be saved.

Do not be deceived by false prophets or those claiming to be the Messiah, for there will be great distress until Jesus arrives with a loud trumpet call on the clouds in great glory.

God's word will never fade away.

Those taken into the clouds (the Rapture) will happen when least expected. Be ready at every moment, as it could happen today. If not prepared, you will be left.

Following the Rapture, anyone not taken, STAY TRUE TO GOD AND BE SAVED!

Matthew chapter 25

Be prepared for Jesus' return. This means no half measures – all in!

Develop and use our talents, as we will have to account for ourselves in the presence of God.

Be charitable to everyone. Don't just give money, but also your time. Whatever you do for others, you do for God. Whatever you do against others, you do against God.

Matthew chapter 21

Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey to show humility; next time will be as a warrior on a white horse for judgement. We have a window of opportunity before judgement arrives.

We are made in God's image, and just as we may get angry, God also has His limits. We should know what pleases God and what upsets Him; in the same way we try to avoid upsetting our own earthly family, we must try to do the same when it comes to our spiritual family.

We must not underestimate the power of God's wrath. By fearing it, we become humble. With faith God gives us his power, and with our humility we can be trusted to use it wisely.

Be like a child growing in knowledge, asking the right questions. Don't ask the wrong questions, or we might not like the answers. Be wise at all times.

Never think of yourself as better than others, no matter what they have done. God tells us many times the first will be last and the last will be first. Many righteous (believe they are) follow God but have not truly repented. Murderers, prostitutes, adulterers and many other sinners who have truly repented will be first.

God created the earth, and we are his tenants, working the land. When he returns for his harvest, how will we treat those he sends? Do we produce good fruit in our lives?

We must use our tallents for the good of everyone with love in our hearts. Love is the key to everything.

Matthew chapter 22

We are all invited to the wedding feast of Jesus in Heaven; will you accept? Many are invited, but few will be chosen. The invitation is not open-ended; time will close, and then it will be too late to accept.

Follow the laws of the land, but also follow the laws of God, the commandments. Should any not align, then God's laws overrule.

Our commitment to God always comes first.

We are a family in Heaven of brothers and sisters, not husbands and wives, with God our father of the living, in eternity forever.

Love is the key to everything, as are the two greatest commandments. Love God first, then everyone else.

Jesus is true man and true God, son of God the father.
