Luke chapter 21
Charity you give that hurts is real charity; charity that doesn’t affect you is of little value.
Wars, earthquakes, famines & pestilences will happen, plus other fearful events. Great signs from Heaven. Trust in Jesus and keep your lamp full. Read the Bible daily and pray; you can avoid the Tribulation period.
Watch out for signs in the stars, sun and moon — then you will know the end times are close. Plus there will be great terror amongst the people, but stay true & trust in Jesus. All these things must happen.
Keep yourself ready, reading the Bible and praying and not drunk and partying and living for the world. Instead, live your life for the church and Jesus.
Luke chapter 22
Pray you don’t fall into temptation.
Prepare, as Jesus will return unexpectedly.
Pray for thankfulness for our provisions.
We must celebrate and remember what Jesus did for us; without it we would not be here. Jesus’ blood covers those who accept it.
Remember, Jesus said to be the greatest, we must be like the youngest child amongst us.
We must also be the servants, not the ones receiving. Do this, and we will one day receive it in the Kingdom of God.
When you accept Jesus, you will never lack anything.
Do not fall asleep and fall into temptation; stay awake and be ready for the return of Jesus.
Pray to hear the voice of God directing us daily. By following the guidance we are being obedient to God.
Remember, God is here now; don’t leave it until it is too late to be with him and accept Jesus. One day you will face Jesus, and he will ask, 'Did you accept him then? So why would you accept him now?'
Your past is not your future. Accept Jesus and repent for the past sins. Jesus will be your friend forever.
Jesus told us he was the Son of God. Will you accept it and believe? Your eternity depends on it.
Luke chapter 23
No one has the authority to judge or condemn others, except Jesus. Only laws of the land may be punished as a crime, but nothing deserves death.
By sending someone to die, you are also guilty of murder. Abortion is also murder.
We must all serve others and carry our own cross, even if this feels unjustified. Justice will be served one day. Remember not to hate any person or carry any unforgiveness against anyone.
We must always do the right thing, not just through bad times, but also when times are not so difficult.
We must recognise what Jesus did for us and remember it every time we have communion; this will strengthen our relationship with Jesus.
We all have the opportunity to repent our sins and accept Jesus while we are alive. This invitation is revoked once we die. Accept while you can or you will regret it for eternity.
We must always intend to follow God’s commandments, but we often fail. It is at this time we run to God, not away from him. We need God more than he needs us, but his love is so great he will want us more than we want him.
Luke chapter 24
We all have angels sent from Heaven to help us. Use them by asking for their guidance.
Don’t forget to be grateful for all divine help. Don’t be like the nine lepers who received Jesus’ blessing but never returned to thank him. Be like the one who showed gratitude to Jesus.
Walk in step with Jesus every day by reading his word and listening to what you must do.
Jesus is always with us; we must recognise him all around us, especially when we feel the pull on our hearts.
Repent for the forgiveness of sins; this is available to us all because of what Jesus has done.
Worship and praise God and tell others about God’s love & what Jesus has done for us all.
