Luke chapter 12
Always remain humble and do not boast.
There are much worse things than death. Fear God, who can make it happen.
Acknowledge God publicly and NEVER blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, as this sin is never forgiven.
Think of others before yourself, especially the poor, when you acquire wealth and possessions.
What do you gain by storing wealth? Nothing.
Helping others will store wealth for eternity.
Do not worry about clothes or food; these things will be taken care of. Give your life to God, trust and let God guide you, via the Holy Spirit.
Be ready for Jesus' return. If you are eating and drinking and parting to excess - do you think you would be ready for Jesus return? Instead feed on the word of God and have a mind set for Jesus.
Listen to the Holy Spirit instructions and keep your heart pure. Work for God in your life. Guranteed Jesus will return when people didn't keep your , so we need to expect the return every day.
Use what you have to work for God. Much will be expected from those that have a lot.
Recognise the times we are in by what is happening around us.
Don't wait until you are in the court room of God to be judged. Judge yourself and repent before it is too late.
Luke chapter 13
Everyone is a sinner and all must repent, even those with good appearances. No one is better than anyone else and God will treat everyone the same.
So important we repent; our eternity depends on it, and once repented, we must stay humble and recognise our sins; we were cleansed off. Never think we are better than others, as our sin wasn't that bad. Those forgiven of more, will be more grateful and have more love for God. God tells us the last will be first and the first will be last. Think of ourselves as last, unworthy and stay humble.
We all have the potential to be amazed for God, just like the mustard seed, which starts off small but can grow and blossom into something amazing, producing lots of fruit.
The door to Heaven is narrow, but the road to hell is wide. Many will come knocking on Heavens door, but only a few will enter.
Now we have the opportunity to prepare for eternity. Will you take advantage or ignore the chances given to all of us?
Jesus will gather the gentiles first, then return for the Israelites. Are you ready, or will you miss it?
Repent and accept what Jesus did for us, then become a follower of Christ (Christian) and you will join God's family in Heaven.
Luke chapter 14
Do not decide your own position, unless it is the lowest of the low. God will put us where we deserve. We must always be humble and serve others. We must always be humble and serve others. (Carry our daily cross.)
Be generous with those you know cannot repay you. Your generousity will not go unnoticed.
Never ignore Jesus' invitation. You are invited to his wedding banquet; always keep your lamp full of oil and accept the invitation. We are the lamp and the oil is God's Holy word.
Reading the word is not enough. Listen to what you are being told and let your heart absorb it all.
Although we live in the world, we must not be off the world. Material things must not be important. We must die in this world (give up everything) so we can live in eternity. We carry our own cross daily. On the cross we pin our sins and repent for what we have done. Like Jesus we carry our own cross and die to this world. Jesus took our cross and paid the price for our sins so we can live in eternity no longer living for ourselves.
Jesus will refine us day by day as long as we carry our daily cross. This is how we lay our foundation for eternity. Live a life for Jesus.
We must live in the word and hear what is said.

Luke chapter 15
Never be afraid to return to God's family, no matter what you have done.
Don't be jealous of the rewards others receive when you feel it is undeserved compared to the work you have put in. We should all be rejoicing at someone being saved as it is our brother or sister in Christ.
We should all try our best to help those lost to be saved. It is our mission in life.
Luke chapter 11
When not sure what to pray, say 'The Our Father'.
Anything you ask for in prayer will be given if it lines up with Jesus's plan for us or doesn't harm us, but remember we must go back and be thankful and praise God for answering.
The greatest thing we can ask for is the Holy Spirit.
Either we are on the side of Jesus or on the side of evil. There is no other side. This will determine where we spend eternity.
When you are not filled with the Holy Spirit, this leaves a home for impure spirits to enter. If cleaned of impure spirits, you must fill up on the light or darkness will return and much worse than before. (How to fill up on the light - read the word of God.)
What we look at (via our eyes) is how we fill up on the light. If you look at darkness, then you will fill up on darkness. Our whole bodies shoud be full of light.
Being clean on the outside is not important; it is what is in our hearts that matters. Doing good for people to receive praise from others is of no reward. Doing good works in private will receive rewards in eternity. Think about what is your heart's treasure. Is it riches, possessions or sexual desires? Or is it love and pleasing God?
Don't try to disprove God's existence; look for ways God reveals himself – God is part of everything good; you just need to recognise him.
Remember, love is doing something for others without expecting anything in return - God is love.
