John chapter 20

Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene first as the first witness of Jesus rising from the dead. Through the witness eyes we believe.
Many witnessed Jesus rising from the dead so that we would believe.
The Gospels are written so we would believe in what Jesus did for each one of us. We believe by what Jesus did for us. Jesus actions.

John chapter 16

We have the Holy Spirit to guide us, so we don't fall away. We must stay connected.
The Holy Spirit will receive from Jesus what we need to know and make it known to us. We need to listen to the Holy Spirit.
The world may rejoice while we suffer, but soon it will turn to joy. Then we will soon forget about the pain we received.
With faith we can ask the Father for anything in Jesus name and we will receive it.
The world is full of trouble, but Jesus overcame the world. We cannot make it in this world without Jesus.

John chapter 18

Jesus takes care of his own children. He will protect us to the very end. The choosen are saved by the grace of Jesus. Just accept.
We have all denied Jesus at some point. We must repent of our sin and abide in Jesus all the time.
He must be Holy and act as Jesus would as we never know when we are being tested.
Jesus is King, but not of this world. We must not be a king either to this world, but a servant for Jesus.

John chapter 17

We all have work to do to glorify God the Father. We must know our purpose so we can do it and complete Gods will for us.
As Jesus prayed, we must pray; first a prayer of gratitude for everything given to us; secondly pray for God's will to be made known to us so we can carry out our purpose without failure. Third we must pray for strength and protection so we stay on course and do not fall. We cannot do it without Jesus.
We must be united as a family and love each other as Jesus loves us, with unconditional love. Every person is a child of God.
Through our connection to Jesus we will know the Father and his Glory will be poured upon us.

John chapter 21

Jesus appears to the disciples in the same way he did in the beginning, a sign that Jesus is the same then as he is now. He never changes.
Jesus instructs Peter as the leader of his people, referring to the people as his sheep. As his sheep we must continually pray for a shepherd (Holy Spirit) to guide us and keep us from being lost.
We must not be concerned about other people's performance, although we must pray for each other.
We believe because of all the things written about Jesus and we can trust they are accurate even though Jesus did much more that wasn't recorded.

John chapter 19

No matter what we do, only Jesus can wipe away our sin, because of what he did on the cross.
When we sin, the Holy Spirit lets us know we have done wrong. We must repent and turn away from all evil.
We only have what we have because Jesus has allowed it. What do we do with what we have been given?
Jesus died as King of the Jews and will return as King of the Jews.
Jesus died exactly as it had been prophesied, with his clothes being divided, no broken bones and his side pierced bringing the flow of blood and water.
